ROCKWELL — Diners at McDonald’s on Main Street between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. this evening can see some of their children’s favorite teachers helping to prepare and serve up burgers, fries, smoothies and more to benefit Morgan Elementary School.
It’s part of the McTeacher’s Night events going on across the country this week to benefit schools. Each participating McDonald’s restaurant donates a percentage of the sales during McTeacher’s Night to its partner school.
Other school volunteers will serve as hosts and cheerleaders for the evening to rally guests and mingle among customers.
At McDonald’s restaurants across North Carolina, McTeacher’s Night has raised more than $600,000 for schools in the past nine years.
The Rockwell McDonald’s is at 8775 Main St.
