SALISBURY — The nighttime work on East Innes Street near Interstate 85 will continue tonight, with paving repairs taking place during daytime hours Thursday.
According to the city of Salisbury, asphalt is only available during regular working hours, so the closure will remain in place Thursday morning until the pavement can be completely patched. This will mostly affect outbound traffic on Innes Street, which will be down to one lane until approximately 2 p.m. Thursday.
There are currently steel plates covering the left outbound lane on Innes Street.
