Private 1st Class Brandon M. LeQuire completed basic training at Parris Island Sept. 16, 2011.
He will now go to Camp Lejeune for 30 days of heavy artillery training, followed by training in linguistics and cryptology in Monterey, Calif. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Lane Jr. of Salisbury and grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Burnham of Salisbury and Mr. and Mrs. William Lane Sr. of Ramseur.
