Two injured in head-on collision on Faith Road

Two people were injured in a head-on collision in the 3000 block of Faith Road this afternoon.
Both were taken by ambulance to area hospitals. A helicopters was requested but not available at the time.
The people hurt in the accident were Timothy Dean Stancill, 51, of 256 Cannon Ave., Concord, and Kim Clodfelter, of Salisbury.
Stancill was driving an older model brown Chevy S-10 pickup. Clodfelter was driving a silver, older model Dodge Ram pickup.
Stancill was transported by ambulance to Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast, and Clodfelter was transported to Rowan Regional Medical Center.
Witnesses on the scene said Stancill seemed to have significant injuries; Clodfelter appeared to be more upset than injured.
Faith Road is down to one lane in that area after being closed briefly.
Both vehicles were destroyed. South Salisbury fire department and the N.C. Highway Patrol were on the scene, along with other emergency responders.
