Livingstone student faces drug charge

Police charged a Livingstone College student with a felony on Wednesday after authorities said he was found with eight bags of marijuana in his pockets.
According to a Salisbury Police report, Stan Wilson, 236 Pearl St., was charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell or distribute marijuana early Wednesday morning after officers responded to a disturbance call at 808 S. Martin Luther King Jr Ave.
The arrest report said the caller notified police that subjects at the location had weapons. Authorities said they detained several subjects at the scene, and found .74 ounces of marijuana in the pockets of Wilson’s pants.
The report did not indicate that weapons were found. No others were charged.
Wilson, 21, was released after posting a $2,000 bond.
