Police charge Salisbury man after drug raid

A Salisbury man was given a $250,000 bond on Monday on four felony charges after authorities said they found more than 1.2 ounces of cocaine at the man’s home.
According to Salisbury Police, Antonio Tyree Kerns, 33, was charged after police raided his 208 Partee St. home. They also found .18 ounces of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a “large sum of U.S. currency.”
Kerns was charged with felony trafficking cocaine, felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver cocaine, felony maintaining a dwelling for storing drugs, felony selling and delivering a controlled substance within 300 feet of school property, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The home was less than a quarter mile from Livingstone College.
He was given a $250,000 bond and was in jail Tuesday morning.
Kerns has a prior drug history after being convicted in 2009 for cocaine possession and in 2004 for marijuana possession.
