Connie Overcash, executive assistant and accounting coordinator for Cooperstown Dreams Park of Salisbury, says this photograph was taken 48 years ago in City Park. Her uncle came across the picture earlier this year. The plane used to be anchored down and part of the harsdscape at City Park. ‘I can remember its being there even when my son was small,’ says Overcash, now 53, who is the little girl in the middle. The boys in the picture are David Overman, left, and Phillip Miller, Connie’s late brother. Overcash is daughter of Faye Hawks and Jack L. Miller of Salisbury. Overman, who now lives in Pennsylvania, was son of Phyllis and John J. Overman.
