Trinity Oaks holds luau

On Aug. 17, the Trinity Oaks Assisted Living community celebrated Hawaiian Day. Residents of Assisted Living started the morning by being adorned with leis in typical Hawaiian style. The dining room, living room and sitting area were decorated with sights and sounds of the Islands.
A Hawaiian luau was enjoyed at lunchtime, consisting of roast pork, Hawaiian chicken with assorted vegetables, fruit kabobs and Hawaiian cake.
After lunch we all had a turn learning to do the Hula and discovering the movements and their meanings, with Debbie Snyder and BeeJe David, our own Polynesian Princess.
A memorable time was enjoyed by all.
