Police: West Virginia residents arrested after drug bust

SALISBURY — Two West Virginia residents were arrested early Tuesday after Salisbury police reportedly found the in possession of drugs.
According to an initial Salisbury Police Department report, Brandon Adam Ferguson, 21, and Nicole Tyler Richmond, 18, were arrested at a traffic stop at the intersection of North Long Street and East Council Street at about 3:45 a.m.
Ferguson, of 214 Lansing St. in Mount Hope, W.Va., was arrested on three outstanding warrants.
Richmond, of 316 Lynwinn Road in Coal City, W.Va., was charged with felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver cocaine, felony maintaining a vehicle for storing drugs and possession of marijuana.
Police said a third person in the car was taken to Super 8 Motel, 925 Bendix Drive, after Richmond and Ferguson were arrested. He was not charged.
Richmond was given a $10,000 bond. Ferguson has a $2,500 bond. They were both in jail on Tuesday.
The vehicle’s description and further details were not available Tuesday night.
