Bands to take the stage Saturday

Carson High School will host the Rowan County Preview Show at 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
The event will feature all of the high school marching bands from Rowan County as well as an exhibition by Catawba College.
The preview show allows bands to see each otherís shows, cheer each other on and receive critiques from judges.
Although this is not a competition, the bands are able to take the comments from the judges and use them to prepare for the upcoming competition season.
The schedule is as follows:
5:30 p.m. ó Catawba College marching band
6 p.m. ó Salisbury High School marching band
6:20 p.m. ó East Rowan High School marching band
6:40 p.m. ó North Rowan High School marching band
7 p.m. ó South Rowan High School marching band
7:20 p.m. ó West Rowan High School marching band
7:40 p.m. ó Carson High School marching band
8 p.m ó Mass band performance featuring all of the bands on the field at one time.
