A 40-year-old Salisbury man was arrested Thursday on charges of felony indecent liberties with children and felony first-degree sexual offense.
According to Salisbury Police, Brian David Dwyer, of 413 Mitchell Ave., was arrested at his home at about 2:30 p.m. Thursday.
Police charged Dwyer with five counts of felony indecent liberties with a child under 13 and five counts of felony first-degree sex offense.
Authorities said the child’s mother reported the offense. Police believe the charges stem from incidents that occurred over a series of years, beginning when the child was 5.
Warrants for Dwyer were obtained by Salisbury Police on Wednesday. He was given a $25,000 bond and was not in jail Friday morning.
