Thank you for your help
Thank you to the Salisbury Post and Katie Scarvey for a wonderful article about my health challenges this past year and for mentioning the barbecue fundraiser given by Third Creek Presbyterian Church. That event was one of the best days of my life! I may have missed thanking some of you in person — there were more thanr 500 people there! May I express my thanks to everyone for their support, including the performers. I have been truly blessed.

Missed connections
As a China Grove resident and now a customer of city of Salisbury’s utilities, namely water, I am very displeased with this change. My water bill is the same if not more than when I received water from China Grove. If you call their office, it can take a very long time for the phone to be answered. I waited 10 minutes before the phone was answered today. It’s an annoying, constant ring — no announcement of wait time or anything. If one wants to set up automatic payments, you have to call them to do this. I thought this association with Fibrant was supposed to make things easier. Isn’t it touting its Internet technology savvy? Today their website is down so nothing can be done online.
I’m sure there are people needing work who would be happy to answer the phone. It feels like things are being done on the cheap and once again, the customer suffers.
