Salisbury Junior Strings starts Sept. 7
SALISBURY ó With the new school year approaching and the focus on academics (especially Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), donít forget the importance of ěAî ń the Arts.
Arts education, in addition to being an academic subject, is known to increase a studentís achievement in other subjects.
To put the ěAî in the equation, the Salisbury Symphony announces the beginning of the season for its youth string ensemble ó the Salisbury Junior Strings.
Rehearsals are from 4 to 5 p.m. Wednesdays, beginning Sept. 7.
Salisbury Junior Strings is open to anyone who has completed two years of the symphonyís After-School Strings program or has had at least one year of private instruction.
