SALISBURY — The Rowan County Tea Party Patriots will hold their August meeting Tuesday evening at the Blue Bay Restaurant on Statesville Boulevard.
The tea party will meet at 6 p.m. for dinner. Special guest speaker will be Speaker Pro Tem Dale Folwell of the N.C. House of Representatives.
A volunteer of ParentalRights.org will present their plan to have a federal Constitutional amendment ratified that would protect the rights of parents to direct the upbringing and education of their children. N.C. Rep. Howard Coble has signed on as a co-sponsor.
