Deadline for posters is 5 p.m.
Back to School Community Outreach, Saturday, 3 p.m., Church of God in Christ, 1133 Short St., Salisbury. Free school supplies, free hot dogs and drinks. Student must be present to receive supplies, first come, first served basis. Supplies limited to 60 packs, elementary age; 20 packs, middle school age; 20 packs, high school age. Music Night in Granite Quarry Civic Park, 202 Peeler St. and North Oak Street, Saturday, 6-8:30 p.m., bring lawn chairs and picnic. Two bands: The Knotts Family Band and GRACE4U. Donations to bands accepted. Drop off point for donated school supplies.
School Supplies Giveaway Saturday, at Crown In Glory Lutheran Church, 517 E. Bank St., noon-2 p.m. or until supplies are given out.
