SPENCER ó Business uses and dogs are on the agenda for the Spencer Board of Aldermen at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Town Hall.
The board will hold a public hearing to take comment on allowing one business to have multiple uses, such as a bookstore doubling as a coffee shop.
The board also will consider an ordinance amendment about keeping dogs. Several months ago, aldermen discovered the townís dog ordinance, which they thought limited owners to four dogs, was not clear and could not be enforced.
Aldermen asked the Spencer Planning Board to study the issue and make a recommendation.
Also on Tuesdayís agenda:
Departmental reports.
Town manager report.
Mayoral and committee reports.
Public comment.
Facade grant application from Allman, 127 Fifth St.
Committee appointment to the Zoning Board of Adjustment.
Request to address the board by the Spencer Jaycees.
