Nazareth Childrenís Home has received $5,000 from the Blanche & Hubert Ritchie Foundation.
Nazareth will use the gift to purchase ěback to schoolî clothing and supplies for each of its 48 children currently in care.
ěThe children, staff and Board of Trustees at Nazareth are sincerely grateful for this gift from the Ritchie Foundation and its continued commitment toward the betterment of our childrenís lives,î said Josh Regan, director of development for Nazareth. Since 2006 The Ritchie Foundation has been a strong and loyal supporter of Nazareth and their mission, donating a total of $60,000 for Christmas gifts and school supplies and clothing.
For 105 years, the mission of Nazareth Childrenís Home has been to provide a stable, loving, Christian environment for children ages 4-18, who have been severely abused, neglected or abandoned, to maximize their opportunities for growth and development while away from their home setting.
It is also the purpose of the Home to work with the families toward returning the child to their natural families as soon as possible.
