Home school meetings
Rowan County Home School Association will meet Aug. 9 at High Rock Community Church, 708 Jake Alexander Blvd. Registration starts at 6:15 p.m., meeting starts at 7 p.m.
Everyone will be able to register for RCHSA at this meeting, and all members will be able to talk to different vendors available through RCHSA.
On Aug. 16, there will be a RCHSA leadership meeting for board and group leaders at 6:15 p.m., and an RCHSA new members meeting at 7 p.m., also at High Rock Community Church on Jake Alexander Boulevard.
This meeting will allow new members to have questions answered and meet some of the leadership in RCHSA who they will be dealing with all year. New member information will be handed out.
