SALISBURY — When thieves reportedly broke into Expressions in downtown Salisbury on Thursday they didn’t go for money or computers, instead they took 10 smoking pipes.
Capt. Shelia Lingle said Salisbury Police responded to a burglary alarm at the store at 118 E. Fisher St. about 6:15 a.m. Thursday.
When officers arrived on the scene they found the front door window had been shattered and the door was open, Lingle said. A back window was also open.
Ten glass smoking bowls were worth $400 were the only items reported missing.
Lingle said the burglary is still under investigation.
