The Rowan County Sheriff’s Department arrested and charged a 17-year-old Salisbury man with second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor Thursday.
The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office, Davie County Sheriff’s Office N.C. State Bureau of Investigation and N.C. Internet Crimes Against Children have been working together on an investigation of Zachariah Bill Lohr, of 135 Chesapeake Drive, since April.
During a search of the residence Thursday, investigators found 3,000 pornographic pictures, the majority of which contained child pornography, and 20 videos, all of which were child pornography.
Two computers were also seized from the home and sent to the SBI lab for a complete forensic scan of the hard drives.
Lohr is being held in the Rowan County Detention Center under a $10,000 bond.
