July 4 closings and service changes

Cities and towns across Rowan and Cabarrus counties will observe Independence Day on Monday. Here’s a rundown of how the holiday will affect municipal offices and services:[0x0b]
• China Grove town offices will be closed. Garbage collection will not be affected.
• Cleveland town offices will be closed. Garbage collection will not be affected.
• East Spencer town offices will be closed. Garbage collection will not be affected.
• Faith town offices will be closed. Garbage collection will run early Monday before 4th of July festivities begin.
• Granite Quarry town offices will be closed. The town board meeting regularly scheduled for the first Monday will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. Garbage collection will not be affected.
• Kannapolis city offices will be closed. Garbage and recycling collection will occur as normally scheduled. The Rotary Express and Splash Pad in Village Park will be operating from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and all other city parks will be open dawn to dusk.
• Landis town offices closed. Garbage collection will not be affected.
• Rockwell town offices will be closed. Garbage collection will not be affected.
• Salisbury city offices will be closed. Garbage collection and recycling services will not be affected. Yard waste and limb collection will not occur Monday but will resume as normal Tuesday. City transit services will not operate on Monday but will resume on a normal schedule Tuesday. Salisbury Community Park will operate on normal schedule Monday, 8 a.m.-8:30 p.m.
Fibrant offices will be closed Monday. For assistance that day, customers can contact Fibrant Technical Support at 704-216-7567.
• Spencer town offices will be closed. Garbage collection will be delayed by one day.
• Concord city offices will be closed. Garbage, recycling, and bulky waste collection will operate on a one-day delay next week, with Monday’s items collected on Tuesday, and Friday’s items collected on Saturday. However, customers are asked to place all yard waste at the curb by 7 a.m. Tuesday. Yard waste will be collected by the end of the day Friday.
