Shiloh 5K Mission Run/Walk Saturday

FAITH ó Shiloh Reformed Church will host the Inaugural Shiloh 5K Mission Run/Walk starting at 8 a.m. Saturday. There will also be a half-mile fun run starting at about 8:50 a.m. for kids 12 and younger.
Shiloh mission teams have traveled to Alaska, Belize, West Virginia, Georgia, Ohio and Illinois. Adults and youth have participated. This year, the adults will travel to Wilmington and the youth will go to New Jersey. All proceeds from the Saturday event will help offset the costs of those trips.
Male and female overall winners will be crowned, as well as the top three age-group winners in 12 categories. Fun run awards go to the top three finishers. All other fun run finishers will get a medal. All participants will receive a commemorative T-shirt and refreshments. Both races will be run on the streets of downtown Faith.
Registration continues through 7:45 a.m. Saturday. Results and timing will be done by the Salisbury Rowan Runners. For more information, contact Luann Fesperman at luannf@carolina. rr.com or 704-202-0344. More information also is available at www.salisburyrowanrunners.org and at www.active. com.
