SALISBURY — Salisbury Symphony’s Summer Strings Camp wrapped up Friday as the campers put on a concert at St. John’s Lutheran Church for their parents and other supporters.
The annual camp offers beginning, intermediate and advanced classes for students 8 years and older. This year, about two dozen youngsters honed their skills and talents on violin, violas and cello.
Two of the groups named themselves: The Fabulous 8 (intermediate group) and Super Awesome Ninjas of Music (advanced group).
Akzo Nobel Global Personal Care provided a grant for the camp, and many of the campers attended on scholarship through funding provided by symphony members.
Veteran instructors included Margaret Rehder, Anne Sellitti and Carter Bradley.
