The South Rowan High School Alumni Committee has set the date for the Class of 1971 Reunion. The class will commemorate their 40th anniversary on Sept. 17.
The location for the event is the Millbridge Ruritan Building at Sloan Park. The address is 490 Sloan Road, Mt. Ulla. The reunion will start at 5 p.m., and dress is casual. Registration in advance is $10. Checks should be mailed to South Rowan Class of 1971, PO Box 44, China Grove, NC 28023. Payment at the door will be $15.
Each classmate should bring a finger food, and their own choice of drinks. Everything else is being provided by the alumni committee. Door prizes will be awarded throughout the evening.
The alumni committee has mailed out invitations to classmates at known addresses. Committee members have been unable to contact a good portion of additional classmates.
