SALISBURY, N.C. — A Salisbury man reported to the Salisbury Police Department that he was threatened by two men pointing a gun in a car that pulled up beside him, but he escaped by running away.
Arnold Harris, 47, told police that he was walking near 900 N. Long St. at about 4:30 a.m. Monday morning when two black males, one with dreadlocks and a white T-shirt drove up beside him in a silver colored Ford Contour with tinted windows.
Harris told police that one of the men said to Harris, “Let me have your wallet” and then pointed a gun at him.
Harris did not give the suspects his wallet, and reportedly ran away from the car.
Police are investigating the incident.
