Two hurt in wreck on Woodleaf Road

Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident Friday in the 2400 block of Woodleaf Road.
One medical helicopter landed at Rowan Regional Medical Center to transport a patient and another helicopter was diverted to the airport by foul weather.
Both patients were flown out to Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. The initial call on the accident with two people pinned in vehicles came in at 7:37 p.m.
