Teen charged with trafficking opium

SALISBURY — Detectives with the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office seized 4 ounces of marijuana and numerous hydrocodone pills while raiding a home at 6070 U.S. 601.
The Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at the home after an investigation into reports that Coty Snow, 18, was selling drugs to young people in the area.
Snow was arrested following the raid and charged with trafficking in opium, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
He was placed in the Rowan County Detention Center under a $50,000 secured bond.
