Poor air quality continues
Air quality continues to be Code Orange, unhealthy for sensitive groups, today and through at least Thursday.
Ozone is the main problem, with some particle pollution.
Code Orange days have been persistent as temperatures remain in the 90s, with little cooling at night. Rain and storms have been spotty, with little wind to clear out the stagnant air.
People who have asthma or other respiratory problems or heart disease should limit outdoor activity, as well as children and active adults.
Outdoor burning is generally prohibited on Air Quality Action days.
