Three people have been taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle accident in southeastern Rowan County.
Authorities on the scene say the driver of a truck was turning left on Old Beatty Ford and drove into the path of an oncoming car on Shuping Mill Road.
The intersection remains closed and vehicles are backed up, including several school buses.
