The Cabarrus-Rowan STEM Community Collaborative is unveiling its community vision for STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) education at the Rowan-Cabarrus Community College’s graduation on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Cabarrus Arena & Events Center.
The Cabarrus-Rowan STEM Community Collaborative is partnership between three school systems, the community college, business leaders, governments and other partners.
The goal of the effort is to engage the entire community in creating a plan for emphasizing STEM education throughout the two-county area. At the RCCC graduation, the STEM effort will be introduced and attendees will have the opportunity to volunteer for participation in the planning process.
