SALISBURY ó To celebrate EMS Week, which begins Sunday, local emergency service agencies are getting together for an EMS day Sunday in the Kohlís shopping center off Julian Road.
The event will last from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.
A helicopter from Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte will be on display, along with ambulances, fire trucks, the smoke house for children to crawl through and several disaster response trailers.
There will be plenty of activities for children, EMS Division Chief Lennie Cooper said.
