CLEVELAND — Fontana’s Garden Center, located at 3341 Salisbury Highway in Cleveland, has reopened for the spring and summer.
Family owned and operated, Fontana’s specializes in hanging baskets and mixed containers. The seasonal garden center also grows a variety of perennials, annuals, vegetable plants and assorted container plants.
“We’ve had people tell us, ‘You ought to charge people to come this place,’ ” co-owner Joe Fontana said. “This is not just flowers — this is art.”
Fontana said he built the greenhouses facing U.S. 70 so people driving by could enjoy the flowers.
The Fontana family has 25 years of experience as a grower. The center will remain open through Aug. 1, with hours of operation from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Contact the center at 704-798-8436.
