The new CMC-Kannapolis healthcare pavilion is under construction on Lane Street in Kannapolis at Interstate 85, Exit 63. The facility will have more than 26,000 square feet, 10 treatment rooms and two private observation rooms for monitoring patients who come to the emergency department.It also includes a laboratory, advanced diagnostic imaging (CT scanner, X-ray and ultrasound), and electronic communications with local hospitals for patients who need to be admitted, so physicians there will have patient data and test results when the patient arrives.
CMC-Kannapolis will have a 24-hour emergency department with physicians who are board certified in emergency medicine.
