Man stable after being shot

SALISBURY — A Salisbury man is in stable condition at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center after police said he was shot in the parking area of the Wilco-Hess on East Innes Street early Sunday.
Bruce Junior Robinson, 29, is in stable condition, and was taken to Rowan Regional Medical Center by friends, and then flown to Baptist.
The shooting, police said, was the result of an altercation in the parking area of the gas station.
The case has been turned over to investigators.
