The Cliff Peeler Easter Classic Baseball tournament has its teams for the championship game on Monday night at 7 p.m. Playing semifinal games after midnight due to rain, Davie County improved to 18-2 with a 12-0 win against North Rowan. The War Eagles will face McMichael in the final. The 3A Fighting Phoenix beat 4A Lake Norman 9-5. Saturday’s late semifinal stories will appear in Monday’s Post. Monday’s games will all be at Salisbury High. It begins with the seventh-place game at 11 a.m. between Salisbury and Central Cabarrus. The fifth-place game at 1:30 pits West Stokes and West Iredell. The third-place game at 4:30 has North Rowan facing Lake Norman.
