SALISBURY — David and Angela Lore will be in Rowan County court today for multiple charges of child abuse and cruelty to animals.
But David Lore now faces new charges — two counts of felony assault by strangulation. He was charged Wednesday morning and given a $25,000 secured bond.
According to the arrest warrant, Lore reportedly grabbed his son, David Edward Lore III, around the neck, cutting off his airway, between June and August 2009.
The new charges were filed by Rowan County Sheriff’s Detective John Brindle. The investigation is ongoing.
