Kannapolis City Schools is joining a nationwide study to help school districts improve communication with parents and others.
The district is one of approximately 100 school districts taking part in the national study to make communication more effective at the classroom, school and district levels. The effort is a partnership between the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA), K12 Insight and local school districts. There is no cost to Kannapolis City Schools.
The survey will be sent via e-mail in mid-March, and responses will be anonymous. The survey is open to all KCS parents and community members. Anyone wishing to participate may go to the Kannapolis City Schoolsí website (www.kannapolis. k12.nc.us) to provide an e-mail address. All e-mail addresses will remain confidential and will be used only for the purposes of the survey. The survey is brief and can be completed within 10 minutes.
ěThis is a wonderful opportunity for us and for the people we serve,î Superintendent Dr. Pam Cain said. ěParent and community involvement is so important, and this survey will help us strengthen that critical link.
ěIím especially pleased that we can offer it to our community without cost to taxpayers. I hope people will sign up so we can learn more about how to reach out to our parents and community.î
