Improvements at Henderson

SALISBURY — Henderson Independent High School has already gone wireless, hired additional staff and added several new career with technical education courses with funds from the federal School Improvement grant it received this year.
And Principal Trisha Baptist says that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
The school plans to add a science lab and media center by the time school starts this fall.
Down the road, she’s hoping to establish a mental health suite so that students can receive services on campus and a child care center to aid teenage mothers.
