A fourth-grader who swallowed a set of magnets and landed up in the hospital last week returned to school today.
Andre Becerra, 9, is back at Woodleaf Elementary after undergoing surgery to removes the magnets from his intestines.
ěHeís doing great,î Alicia Becerra said. ěHeís tired and definitely sore, but other than that heís totally back to normal.î
Andre spent five days at Presbyterian Hospital before returning home Friday.
