North boys, Salisbury girls claim state championships

North Rowan’s boys basketball team came from 14 points down at halftime to defeat Pender County 64-57 for the 1A championship.
Salisbury’s girls had an easier time claiming their third straight state title, beating East Bladen 76-44.
