PHILADELPHIA ó Jeff Carter, Claude Giroux and Kimmo Timonen scored power-play goals and the Philadelphia Flyers headed into the All-Star break leading the NHL in wins after a 5-2 victory over the Montreal Canadiens on Tuesday night.
The Flyersí 10-2-0 record in January has catapulted them to a league-best 33 victories. A year ago, the Flyers clinched a playoff spot in the last game of the season. Theyíll return next week with a No. 1 seed in the East in sight.

TAMPA, Fla. ó Dwayne Roloson made 26 saves in his third shutout in 10 games this month, Teddy Purcell had a goal and an assist, and Tampa Bay beat Toronto for its fifth straight victory.
Roloson, acquired in a trade with the New York Islanders on New Yearís Day, took a shutout into the third period of a 7-1 win Sunday over Atlanta.

PITTSBURGH ó Marc-Andre Fleury made 29 saves for his second shutout of the season and Craig Adams scored in the third period as Pittsburgh edged New York to win again without its superstar duo of Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin.
Fleuryís 18th career shutout was the second this season in which Pittsburgh scored only once. The Penguins have won two consecutive games and five of six ó all without Crosby (concussion), and the most recent three without fellow former scoring champion Malkin (knee, sinus infection).
Panthers 4, Rangers 3
NEW YORK ó Defenseman Mike Weaverís first goal in 42 games, scored off the back of Rangers forward Artem Anisimov, broke a third-period tie and lifted Florida over New York.
Weaver flipped a shot from the right side that hit Anisimov in front and bounded past surprised goalie Henrik Lundqvist with 8:19 left.

Anisimov was victimized twice as Rostislav Oleszís first-period goal also caromed off him and past Lundqvist.
Keaton Ellerbyís first NHL goal snapped a tie in the second period, and Mike Santorelli stretched the lead just more than a minute later to give Florida a seemingly comfortable lead.
But Brandon Prust and Brian Boyle scored 1:51 apart early in the third to get the Rangers even at 3.
Tomas Vokoun, who shut out New York in a 3-0 home win on Jan. 2, was sharp again against the Rangers. He made 32 saves, two days after a muscle pull forced him to sit out Floridaís 5-2 loss at New Jersey that started the Panthersí six-game road trip.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) ó Teemu Selanne had a goal and an assist, and All-Star goalie Jonas Hiller made 35 saves for his NHL-leading 25th win as the surging Anaheim Ducks held on to beat Columbus in the last game for both teams before the All-Star break.
Cam Fowler and Jason Blake also scored, and Lubomir Visnovsky and Saku Koivu each added two assists for Anaheim, which has won 10 of 13. The Ducks won consecutive road games for the first time in six weeks.
Derick Brassard had a goal and an assist and Rick Nash also scored for the Blue Jackets, who entered on a five-game point streak but couldnít come back from a two-goal deficit for a third straight game.

OTTAWA (AP) ó Shaone Morrisonn scored 1:59 into overtime to give Buffalo a victory over Ottawa.
Ryan Miller stopped 27 shots for Buffalo, which has won four of five. The Sabres are on a 9-3-1 run that has moved them within four points of a playoff spot.
Morrisonn beat Brian Elliott for his first goal of the season after Ottawa tied it with 6:04 left in regulation. Paul Byron got his first NHL goal midway through the first and Jochen Hecht scored later in the opening period to give the Sabres a 2-1 lead.
Sergei Gonchar pulled Ottawa even with a power-play goal 13:56 into the third. Chris Kelly scored in the first for Ottawa, which lost its seventh in a row at Scotiabank Place.
The home losing streak is the Senatorsí longest at the arena, and the teamís worst home skid in 15 years.
Elliott made 22 saves but has lost 11 in a row (0-7-4).
