Students share hopes and dreams

To be able to dream, believe and have hope is important to everyone. Many dream but donít believe, while some do believe. The believers can have hope and dream even bigger. To accomplish something that may be out of reach is really amazing. Everyone has something they want to achieve and will go on in life to achieve them. Itís like wishing on a star, but doing all the work yourself in order to make that wish come true. You are the wisher and you want that wish to come true. Have hope, dream big, believe you can do a lot. The only thing that can come in between your dream you want to achieve and the life you are living now, is yourself. You are who you are. No one can change that, only you can. When you hope for something, keep thinking about it and dream more of it.

I dream of sparking creative minds, hoping to set them off as fireworks as they lead their way into the future.
Many people dream of people looking up to them;
I only dream of helping these bright intelligent students.
Inside where motivation burns I know I can get to them.
I know that many of them may struggle, but I am willing to go all the way for them.
They are a part of me, and I am a part of them.
Together we are one; we will conquer all obstacles as I lead them to victory.

What is hope? Is hope simply a goal to yourself that you shall not keep?
Hope is not only a goal, but a promise. A promise to succeed and find a brighter future for not only you, but the world.
Maybe itíll be a new invention, that can cure any illness with perhaps the push of a button. Or, maybe something else to benefit not only mankind, but the precious environment we claim our home. Could you be the leader to end global warming or pollution? I believe you could.
A flaw that most people find when they have their hopes high is doubt. Doubt is something that should never prevent you from creating a better lifestyle or future. It doesnít matter if you are big or small, young or old, powerful or anything of the sort!
It may seem like simply a fantasy or a dream but those wishes eventually come true. I canít promise that it will happen quickly, nor can I admit that itíll take long. It depends on you and whatever your heart decides.
This may all not matter to you now but soon, I promise, these words will have an impact on you and the bright, hopeful future. This is hope.
Itís waiting for you-…..

Peopleís hopes and dreams change over periods of time. But mine have stayed the same. Iíve always dreamed of having a husband to come home to like a fairytale, but as I age I donít want the princess crown or magic pumpkin carriage. I want something more real and practical. I canít put my faith in a fairy godmother; I have to work for my goals. Magic isnít going to help in this world, but if you donít believe in magic or dreams then you have nothing to live for. And hope is something everybody needsówithout hope there would be nothing..

I hope that the world would soon be in a place that can be peaceful. This hope can be successful with people having equal rights and everyone treating each other fairly. I know thatís hard to do because this is the world weíre talking about, but it can also be worth a try. Maybe it can happen and maybe not, but I still hope. I hope to work together in the future and have everyone smiling and loving each other. Everyone has dreamsóI donít have a clue of what my dream is. Everyone tells me that I still have a long way to go, but for me time is already running out. Sometimes I sit and think that there might be a possibility to do many careers at a time such as dancing, singing, cooking, and becoming an astronaut. I have a lot of inspiration to do these things. Itís probably impossible, but thereís another part of me that reminds me that I can do anything I set my mind to. Thereís also another part of me who is scared to try these things, scared to take the risk and make mistakes. I just hope the world would become a better place and fast!

In the year 2011, we would like there to be more graduates, less global warming, and we want to find a cure for cancer. We believe all of these problems are threats to humanity. If we all work together, we can solve these issues.
If less students fail their grades and more students do their work, they are more likely to graduate with their regular class. This will then solve our problems with people not graduating when they are supposed to. If students listen in their classes, they can prevent the use of drugs, because they would know the effects of them. When you graduate, you will have a better chance for a good job in the future.
If global warming is not slowed down, the icebergs will melt. The water level will then rise and overflow our coastlines. This will cause danger for animals and people. Some of the animals that live around ice could suffer and die due to the fact that they are used to cold weather conditions.
Cancer is one of the worst sicknesses known to man. Around 7.2 to 7.5 million people die each year around the world because of this disease. Lung cancer is proven to kill more people than any other kind of cancer. This deadly disease is very hard to cure, but itís not impossible.
If we solve all of these problems, this world would be on its way to being a better place.

I dream of sparking creative minds like setting off a spectacular fireworks display, inspiring a deep desire to learn as if one is searching for treasure, providing challenging problems to solve like the dissolution of bullying, encouraging curiosity to ignite like a raging forest fire, creating a peaceful learning environment that encourages students to collaborate and discover success.
I dream of becoming a teacher who provides a classroom of wonder where students feel encouraged to learn and to create, being a teacher who inspires my students to believe in themselves and to pursue their highest dreams.
I dream of creating a classroom where students cannot wait to arrive and to discover the dayís adventures.
