Police have located an 11-year-old boy missing since Friday and are returning him to the home of his adoptive parents, according to emergency radio communications.
James Timothy Greene was found at a home in East Spencer, police say.
The home, at 303 Southern St., is the home of his grandmother, Calarmel McKenzie and his aunt, Marilyn Glenn.
Authorities and adoptive parents James and Crystal Greene have been looking for Timothy — who also goes by the nickname “Tim Tim” — all weekend. He was last seen Friday morning at the Greenes’ house on Holmes Street.
On Monday, the Greenes and their relatives distributed fliers throughout Salisbury.
The couple adopted Timothy in 2009 after being his foster parents. They knew Timothy’s biological mother, who died in 2009.
It’s not yet clear if Timothy was with his grandmother the entire time.
