Tell us about trouble spots

Road crews are still working to improve driving conditions today as the sun helps melt ice and snow that fell this week.
John Thomason, transportation supervisor for Rowan County’s DOT office, said primary roads are clear, and crews are now scraping and salting secondary roads and subdivisions.
“They should all be open and passable today, but there will still be trouble spots,” he said, adding that refreezing overnight could cause black ice to form.
