U.S. Rep. Howard Cobleís chief of staff and press secretary lost his cell phone ó but not his shirt ó while in Las Vegas recently.
Ed McDonald wrote in an e-mail to his contacts that he will be using a temporary number for the next few weeks until his phone can be replaced.
ěI was in Las Vegas attending the Consumer Electronics Show and lost my cell phone,î McDonald wrote.
In case anyone would blame this unlucky event on a throw of the dice or a few bad hands, he added, ěAnd no, I did not lose it at the blackjack tables.î
