DURHAM ó Coach Mike Krzyzewski says No. 1 Duke continues to be ěprepared to play the rest of the season withoutî injured guard Kyrie Irving.
Speaking Monday on the Atlantic Coast Conferenceís weekly media teleconference, Krzyzewski says there is ěno new newsî on the freshman point guardís status. Irving is out indefinitely after injuring his right big toe last month in a win over Butler.
Krzyzewski has said that Irving could miss the rest of the season, though he says the guardís rehab is progressing well.
Krzyzewski calls the injury a ěvery intricate-type situationî thatís ětoo complicated to talk about.î He says doctors are working to treat it without surgery. Irving has been in a cast and on crutches for several weeks.
