CHINA GROVE óSouth China Grove Church of God will be hosting a concert Sunday, Dec. 27, at 6:30 p.m. in the church sanctuary.
Guest singing group will be “God’s Child” from Kannapolis with the gospel stylings of Harold, Crystal, and Tanya Mullis who have performed many concerts and have a number of recordings.
The Men of Action will be serving hotdogs for donations in the fellowship hall following the service to raise funds to benefit a landscaping project. Visitors are invited and welcome to attend.
The church is located at 163 Third Ave. in China Grove.

First UMC
The congregation of First United Methodist Church in Salisbury invites the public to an Epiphany Lovefeast in the Moravian tradition on Sunday, Jan. 3, at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary.
A lovefeast is a service dedicated to Christian love and seeks to strengthen the bonds and the spirit of harmony, goodwill and congeniality, as well as to forgive past disputes and instead love one another.

Kimball Memorial
KANNAPOLIS ó The Christmas cantata worship service at Kimball Memorial Lutheran Church, 101 Vance St., Kannapolis, will be held Sunday, Dec. 27 at 10 a.m.
The worship service will include the singing of carols, readings from the Bible, prayers and the celebration of Holy Communion. The music ministry will offer the cantata “Mary, Did You Know?”. The public is invited.
Seminarian Jonathon Boynton will preach at Kimball Memorial on Sunday, Jan. 3, at the 8:30 and 11 a.m. worship services.
Jonathon is a “son” of the congregation and a student at Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary in Columbia, S.C.
