Correction on cigarette wholesaler ownership

Correction
A story in Thursday’s Salisbury Post should have said Darrell Brigman is the former owner of Modern Wholesale Co. in Kannapolis.
Brigman, who faces federal charges of illegally selling cigarettes in a scheme to evade tobacco taxes, is no longer involved in a business at 609 S. Main St.
Another business in the same location, called Modern Wholesale and Tobacco, is owned by Richard Sinclair, who was not involved with Brigman’s former business.
