SBI makes arrest after man sends nude photos to 14-year old

Staff report
A 57-year-old Miller Road resident who police say sent nude pictures of himself to a 14-year-old has been caught in an SBI cybernet sting.
Acting on a tip from the SBI, the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office has arrested Charles Edward Fiello of 1945 Miller Road on charges of taking indecent liberties with a child.
Capt. John Sifford of the Rowan Sheriff’s Office said Fiello had been chatting with a 14-year-old girl over the Internet and has sent nude photos of his private parts to her.
Investigators Greg Hannold and Jason Whitley went to Fiello’s home on Dec. 15 and were given permission to search.
They found two computers in the rear of the home and removed them.
It was unclear how the initial tip about the 14 -year-old came to the SBI or where the girl lives.
