Ritchie completes Army basic training
Army PV2 Cody N. Ritchie has graduated from Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Benning, Ga.
During the 14 weeks of training, Ritchie studied tactical communications, first aid, administering IVs, map reading, basic rifle marksmanship, battle march shoot, advanced rifle marksmanship, fire team training and field maneuvers.
The son of Jeff and Sharon Ritchie of Patterson Road in Salisbury, Ritchie is a 2008 graduate of West Rowan High School. He is now stationed in Vilseck, Bavaria, Germany.
